This is a skillful execution of a chinese brush painting of traditional plum blossom by an anonymous/unknown artist, i can't read the name or seal, sorry, but it is done with skillful stroke and brush movement in spontaneous and spirited manner, it is a decorative piece to me and indeed a good works of art to frame or make into scroll art....please enjoy its' beauty/artistic rendiation instead as for investment of an art piece because of the unknown artist here, it is from China. You can get it made into scroll by paying another USD30 and it takes two weeks to complete. According to Wikipedia, Plum Blossoms/Prunus Mume is Chinese traditional favourite art subject matter or social favourite flower in Chinese new year, they bloom most vibrantly during the winter snow, after other plants have shed their leaves, and before any other flowers appear. Thus, they are seen as an example of resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity, and have also been used as a metaphor to symbolize revolutionary struggle.
